05.02.2023 2 Timothy 2.24-26 Metaphysical

In second grade I created a form of art that I did not create. My teacher instructed me to create a picture and I proceeded to create the most appealing form of art I have ever made. Truth be told, that drawing was and is better than anything I could create today.

“And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will” (ESV Bible, 2001, 2 Timothy 2:24-26).

How did I complete such a drawing? Well, simply put, I did not. It was not me. I believe it was the Holy Spirit working through me to provide an example for others and one of remembrance for me. Perhaps, my teacher was moved by the experience. I know I certainly am and encourage you to think more deeply about the metaphysical experiences in your life.

We pray that our message today has encouraged you and that you will seek the Bible more fervently than ever. Today we spoke on another example of how human anatomy and the Bible are in sync, not in opposition. Blessing to you our brothers and sisters.
